Text messages
Who sends them. Wingmarked, operated by Hobizbo. Wingmarked reviews a firm’s outgoing email after Send and before delivery; the people who use it sign in and are told about held mail by text when they have not set up push notifications.
What is sent. Two kinds of message, both transactional: review alerts (a message of yours is held, a reviewer has a question, a hold is about to expire) and one-time sign-in codes. No marketing, ever. Nothing is sent to a number that has not been added to an account by its owner or confirmed by them.
How often. Message frequency varies with your mail: most people get a few texts a month, and none in a quiet week. Message and data rates may apply.
Help and opting out. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time; after STOP you get one text confirming it and nothing more. Push notifications and passkeys keep working without texts. Questions go to support@wingmarked.com.
How numbers are kept is in the Privacy Policy; the service terms are in the Terms. Mobile numbers and SMS consent are never shared with third parties for marketing.
What people agree to
Every place a mobile number is added (signing in with a code, accepting a reviewer invitation, or changing the number on the account page) shows this checkbox. It is unchecked until the person ticks it, and no text is sent before they do. This is the form as it appears in the product.
When a firm’s admin invites an outside reviewer by number, the admin ticks a box saying they have that person’s permission, and the reviewer ticks the box above before any code is sent to them.
